 Malcolm Templeton - Director / Operations ManagerMalcolm is from the Northern end of the country and was educated at Whangarei Boys High. Malcolm first started in the NZ Army, assigned to the NZ Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Section in the role of Field Mechanical Supervisor and accompanied NZ External Affairs on several Foreign Aid projects.
After 13 years of Service, Malcolm took on a role at Dales Freightways as Operations and Equipment Supervisor. He oversaw all aspects, including staff safety training, heavy haulage, wharf operation, planning. designing and fabricating all equipment and servicing all equipment in yard and field.
He then spent 3 years as managing Director of Containerpak, specializing in heavy transport, over dimensional transport and machinery moving, cranage, jacking, skating and devanning. During this time, Malcolm also took on the role of Heavy Haulage Supervisor with NZL Transport, for which he oversaw many major projects such as the Hawea Kiwi Dairy Expansion, New Plymouth Tasman Oil Tools and the Whangarei Tenix Frigate Project to name but a few.
