Dave Brown - Director / Projects Manager

Dave is originally from Southland and was educated at Gore High.  Dave first started as a truck driver/earthmover operator for the Ministry of Works and Green & McCahill in the early 1970's.  He soon found his niche in Heavy Haulage and was employed by Dale Freightways as Field Supervisor. 

Dave went from strength to strength and this was noted accordingly in his progression through the ranks as Project Manager, Operations Manager to Operations Superintendent.  He oversaw projects nationwide such as the NZED Rangipo Power Project and also offshore, such as the Hi Gas Industries contract in Adelaide. 

 In 1992, Dave made the shift to NZL Transport where he was employed as Projects Manager.  During this role he headed many major projects, including the esteemed Heavy Haul contract for Sankyu Ltd, based in Petronas Oil Refinery in Malaysia.
